Staying in our hotel means discovering three houses with atypical volumes: the atmosphere is more contemporary around the reception area and its spiral staircase as well as the large window, a real well of light in the heart of the house. Then, by taking the different stairs to go up the floors and opening the doors of the rooms, you immediately switch into a more authentic Alsace, made of antique furniture, wood, thick walls and details loaded with history.

Breakfast
From Wednesday to Sunday, we serve breakfast at the table, not as a buffet. We like this quieter, more laid-out formula that better matches the spirit of the house. On the menu: fresh, local and seasonal products, combining sweet and salty. Perfect to start the day with greed. Extra charge. With the restaurant closed on Monday and Tuesday, breakfast is served at the Saint Nicolas hotel, located opposite the hotel, in the form of a buffet.

Riquewihr is one of those places that is immediately recognized. The medieval city is discovered on foot, along the alleyways, half-timbered facades, and architectural details typical of Alsace. The atmosphere changes according to the seasons and the light and gives the impression of rediscovering the city. This is also what makes the experience unique: we do not « Done » Not Riquewihr, we see him. Being here also means being at the heart of the Road Wines from Alsace. Here we feel the connection with the vineyards : landscapes, the hill of Schœnenbourg, culture, cellars, but especially encounters. Riquewihr is a village that lives at different rhythms. These cities perfectly complement the discovery of Riquewihr and its surroundings, between walks in the vineyards, panoramas and villages full of charm.
In less than 30 kilometers you can change your atmosphere, enjoy a market, a point of view or a visit, then return quietly to the hotel. In the evening, we appreciate to find peace, rest, and extend the day with ease.

Is the hotel accessible to people with reduced mobility?
No. The Golden Sarment is housed in three historic buildings connected by several stairs. Due to this configuration and the absence of elevator, our hotel is unfortunately not accessible to people with reduced mobility. Do not hesitate to contact us before your stay: we will gladly answer all your questions.
Are the rooms air conditioned?
No. Because of the configuration of our three historic houses, our seven rooms are not air conditioned. For your comfort, a fan is available in each room. On the warmest days, you can also enjoyter of our fully air-conditioned restaurant room from 4pm, in a space reserved for you. Space is only available from Wednesday to Sunday, the restaurant being closed on Monday and Tuesday.
Does the hotel have parking spaces?
Yes. We offer a limited number of private parking spaces. They are located outside the city centre which is completely pedestrian, Place des Charpentiers, about 200 m from the hourOh, my God. Available only upon reservation and subject to availability, for a surcharge. Depending on the length of your stay, other parking options can also be offered on a case-by-case basis. We advise you to contact us as soon as you book to arrange your arrival in Riquewihr.
Do the rooms have Wi-Fi?
Yes. Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Whether you are on a business trip or staying on the Route des Vins in Alsace, you can stay connected throughout your stay.
Is breakfast offered?
Yes. We serve a continental table breakfast, composed of fresh and local products, with a sweet and salty selection. Depending on your rate, it can be included in your reservation or offered at the price of 18 € per adult and 10 € per child. From Wednesday to Sunday, it is served in the restaurant's 8-10 a.m.. For Monday and Tuesday nights, breakfast is offered as a buffet at a partner's house.
Do you offer half board?
Yes. You can book your stay in half board and enjoy the experience of the Golden Sarment. This formula includes your overnight stay, breakfast, as well as a dinner at the restaurant with a dedicated menu, ideal to discover our seasonal cuisine without having to worry aboutorganization of your evening.
Are dogs accepted?
Yes. Your four-legged companions are welcome to the Golden Sarment. We simply thank you to notify us before your arrival so that we can prepare their welcome with a carpet and a bowl. A supplement of 15 € per night is applied. Also remember to tell us their size so that we can assign you the most suitable room.
Can we stay with your family at the hotel?
Yes. Sarment d'Or is also a family-run hotel. We have a triple room and two quadruple rooms, ideal for family stays in the heart of Alsace. On request, we can also make available a bed for freeBe.
Is it possible to do a late check-in?
Yes. If you arrive after the reception hours, no worries. All our rooms are equipped with connected locks : you will receive before your arrival an e-mail containing your access code and all the information necessary to join your voteThis is an independent chamber.
What are the check-in and check-out schedules?
Rooms are available from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival. The departure takes place at 10 am to allow our small team to prepare your room in the best conditions. If you have a particular constraint, do not hesitate to contact us: we will do our best to adapt us according to availability.
Does a hotel reservation guarantee a table at the restaurant?
No. The restaurant is also open to outside customers and can display complete, especially on weekends and in high season. If you wish to have lunch or dinner during your stay, we strongly recommend that you book your table at the same time as your room, subject to availability.
