By entering Le Sarment d'Or, you enter an Alsatian home full of history. Three houses assembled in one, which today form a warm, living and welcoming place. We come here for a meal, for a stay, or simply to share a moment with family, friends or two. Woodwork, exposed stones from city walls or half-timbered: every detail tells the past and history of the place.
Close to the vineyards, in the heart of the seasons, Le Sarment d'Or is much more than a hotel-restaurant.

ABOUT LE SARMENT D'OR
Established in Riquewihr since 1961, the hotel-restaurant Le Sarment d’Or, formerly known as Au Vieux Riquewihr, is an integral part of the local landscape and has left its mark on several generations of locals. It is with a desire to honour its history whilst breathing new life into it that a new team now runs the establishment.
Today, Le Sarment d’Or is run by us: Martin, Victor, Élodie and Manon. Four friends, passionate about the hotel, restaurant and tourism industries, who have chosen to take over this iconic establishment in Riquewihr. Together, we have devised a project that remains true to the establishment’s history, yet is deeply rooted in our vision of hospitality and catering, where the key principles are: a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a spirit of sharing.
We highlight local expertise through our philosophy: working with local producers, showcasing their products, and promoting the region of Alsace, both in our cuisine and in our service.

Once you’ve parked your car in one of our private parking spaces or in the town’s car parks, Riquewihr is best explored on foot. The town comes alive with the changing seasons and offers easy access to neighbouring villages such as Hunawihr and Zellenberg.
